On July 17, 2024, Looking Glass Foundation proudly partnered with the Be Kind To Your Mind community fundraiser for the third year in a row! Together, we gathered as a community (and welcomed many new faces!) at Container Brewing for an evening of connection, delicious food and beverages and uplifting live music – all in the name of creating supports for eating disorder recovery.

Because of the generosity of our guests and those who joined in our 50/50 Raffle, we raised an incredible $7,752! Funds raised contribute to Looking Glass’ low barrier programs and services which strive to decrease isolation, instill hope and sustain recovery for those experiencing eating disorders. We know that eating disorders thrive in isolation and silence, but healing happens together. This event, with its incredible celebration of community and togetherness, continues to encourage us as we work to build out our mental health supports that we know can change lives.

A big, BIG thank you to our Venue Partner, Container Brewing, for hosting us and providing a wonderful atmosphere for our event, Entertainment Partner Musos Entertainment and performer Evan Kennedy for an uplifting live performance, and Photography Partner Stephanie Porter for beautifully capturing the evening!

Thank you to all who joined us, donated, and participated in the 50/50 Summer Raffle! With the memory of this successful fundraiser still fresh in their minds, many are eagerly awaiting the next opportunity to come together. We look forward to our next partnership with Be Kind To Your Mind in 2025!

“It was such a wonderful evening. Being able to connect with the community, in person, was really special. Everyone had a great time. I am honoured to partner with Looking Glass, helping bring awareness and shining a light on eating disorders and the importance of accessible services and resources.”

– Christina, Founder of Be Kind To Your Mind
